William Dandy Middle School Parents, Guardians, and Students

Welcome to the 2026–27 school year! We are thrilled to greet our scholars and extend a warm “Welcome Back” to our returning 7th and 8th grade students. We hope your summer has been restful and filled with meaningful time with family and friends.

WDMS has a unified dress code daily. We believe this dress code policy promotes safety, improves behavior and enhances the learning environment. Below is a list of colors that are approved.

Unified Dress code consists of the following:

TOPS: (Polo Style Shirts) short/ long sleeve

Colors: White, Yellow (Gold), Navy Blue, Light Blue and Royal Blue (SOLID COLORS ONLY)

BOTTOMS: Dockers style shorts, pants, Capri’s and skorts

Colors: Tan Khaki, Navy Blue

*Students are Not permitted to wear: Jeans, Leggings, Jeggings, Yoga Pants or Pajama Bottoms*

*Students may wear hooded jackets but hoods may not be worn on their heads during the school day.*

If the weather dips below 55 degrees students may wear black or navy sweatpants or jeans may be worn no cuts, rips, tears or designs.

Pre-Medical Student Uniform

Royal blue scrubs, white lab coat, and black scrub jacket

Black or white closed-toe sneakers

Pre-Law Student Uniform

Black pullover vest, black cardigan, or black quarter-zip jacket

Royal blue, white, or gold polo shirt; white dress shirt

Khaki or navy-blue pants or skirts

Not permitted: yoga tights, leggings, miniskirts, T-shirts, biker shorts, Adidas joggers, Crocs, or slides. All shoes must be closed toe.

Uniforms must be worn every day.
