WDMS Uniform Policy 2025-2026

Dear William Dandy Middle School Parents, Guardians, and Students

Welcome to the 2025–2026 school year! We are thrilled to greet our scholars and extend a warm “Welcome Back” to our returning 7th and 8th grade students. We hope your summer has been restful and filled with meaningful time with family and friends.

WDMS has a unified dress code daily. We believe this dress code policy promotes safety, improves behavior and enhances the learning environment. Below is a list of colors that are approved.

 

 

Unified Dress code consists of the following:

 

TOPS: (Polo Style Shirts) short/ long sleeve

Colors: White, Yellow (Gold), Navy Blue, Light Blue and Royal Blue (SOLID COLORS ONLY)

BOTTOMS: Dockers style shorts, pants, Capri’s and skorts

Colors: Tan Khaki, Navy Blue

*Students are Not permitted to wear: Jeans, Leggings, Jeggings, Yoga Pants or Pajama Bottoms*

*Students may wear hooded jackets but hoods may not be worn on their heads during the school day.*

If the weather dips below 55 degrees students may wear black or navy sweatpants or jeans may be worn no cuts, rips, tears or designs.

Magnet Professional Dress Day

Welcome to the 2025–2026 school year! We are thrilled to greet our new Pre-Law and Pre-Medical Magnet scholars and extend a warm “Welcome Back” to our returning 7th and 8th grade students. We hope your summer has been restful and filled with meaningful time with family and friends.

As we prepare for an exciting year ahead, we’re pleased to share some important updates regarding our Magnet Program—specifically, enhancements to our uniform expectations that reflect the professionalism and pride of our scholars.

 

🎓Updated Magnet Uniform Guidelines

• All Magnet students are expected to participate in Magnet Professional Dress Days every Monday and Friday, beginning August 22, 2025. Please review the updated uniform requirements below:

🩺 Pre-Medical Magnet Uniforms

• 8th Grade: Blue scrubs with program logo plus a white lab coat
• 7th Grade: Black scrubs with logo patch on the left side
• 6th Grade: Grey scrubs with logo patch on the left side

⚖️ Pre-Law Magnet Uniforms

• 8th Grade: White button-down shirt with a black blazer featuring the logo patch
• 7th Grade: Sweater vest with logo patch, worn over a white long-sleeve button-down shirt
• 6th Grade: Long-sleeve white polo shirt with logo patch on the left side
